web site has so much information, if I decided to read everything
, I won't have time to get to London? I only have 2 weeks
holiday!
A-
If you are planning a trip
of 2 weeks in London, most of what is written in London Guide
would not apply to you anyway. Just come to London and be
surprised, the only thing is that you won't know where to
start, and if you have only two weeks holiday, you'll spend
most of the two weeks trying to figure out what to do next.
Be smart! read as much as you can before you come.
Q-
I don't understand the meaning of double room, are you
talking about 2 rooms or one room?
A-
A double room is one room
with a double bed, suitable for couples. So one large bed
in a room and the room is called Double room, if you put 2
small beds or single beds, the room becomes twin room, suitable
for two friends, 2 girls, 2 boys, one boy & one girl and
maybe a couple who don't wish to be in the same bed, may be
they hate each other, you never know!!
Q-
Hello, I am considering a move to London for approximately
15 months to attend school. I have found your web site extremely
useful. One thing, I have not been able to locate is information
regarding bringing animals from the US to the UK. I have two
cats and I am trying to determine whether it is feasible to
bring my cats with me. I was hoping that you could provide
some guidance. Thanks so much for your help and for your very
informative web site??
A-
For the first time in decades,
they have changed the law, now you can bring your cats and
dogs, you will need a passport for them, try to contact
the nearest British Embassy for more information on the new
regulations.
Q-
How big is the fridge, it is for me and my girl friend??
A-
I guess you are from Alaska
or Siberia, the fridge is big enough for two but if your intention
is to sleep in it, the double bed may not fit inside.
Q-
What is the best way to recommend you?
Tell your friends (check those very
funny guys at www.studios92.com
or www.uklodging.com
or www.londonlodging.co.uk).
They may not be able to help you out because they are fully
booked all year around, but Hell they are very funny!!.
Q-
I loved your web site, specially the FAQ page, but
I must tell you: I found one spelling mistake..
A-
Really?? just one???
Q-
So, what do you do for a living?
A-
I answer silly e-mails.
Q-
I just don't see the opening hours, may be I am not very clever,
can you help ?
A-
Opening hours? its very simple....
We usually open at 9, 9:30 or 9:45am,
though sometimes 10:15 , 10:30 or 10:45, if we sleep in, but
rarely later than 11:00am.
Closing time:
Around 4 or 4:30pm, but sometimes as
late as 5pm or 5:30pm, if we feel like staying open a bit
longer.
Days off:
Usually Sunday, but sometimes we open,
unless the door is locked then we are closed, in which case
we are doing something else more interesting than working.
Life is too short not to enjoy in full. Basically if
its a nice day, then we are somewhere else. We
are also closed most holidays, like Christmas Day, Good Friday,
family and friend's birthdays, when Arsenal is playing...etc
You
can pretty much count on us being here at some point during
the week, that is of course unless we decide to go away on
holiday on the spur of the moment, which we often do.
If
in doubt:
Call us from the UK seven days a week
and we will answer your call if we are not doing something
else.
Opening
Hours: 7 days/ week - 9am to 6pm

the other bed to a stranger and we end up paying only 80 for
the both of us???
A-
What are you talking about????
Q-
I want to know about the cheapest place to
sleep, dead cheap!!
A-
..Dead cheap.. Ok!! The first
one is a bed in Siberia in a tent for one pound a month and
then you DIE frozen.
The second one is to sleep in a floating
boat with a family of 11 in Honk Kong, you fall of the boat
while sleeping and you drown, the third one is to sleep in
the desert of Egypt for free and then get kidnapped and killed,
that is what I call dead cheap!!
Q-
Do I need a sleeping bag at Studios92.com
Ltd ?
A-
No, Absolutely not,
We supply clean bed sheets, duvet and duvet cover. If you
insist in using your sleeping bag for what
ever reason you may have, You will need to show us a receipt
that your sleeping bag has been dry-cleaned the last couple
of weeks. We know that some travelers never ever dry-clean
their sleeping bag, some of them have potato
growing inside and they are even making
profit by selling it as organic potato, the question is, are
you one of them??
Because if you are, you would be left
in the station holding to your sleeping bag, be advised and
warned that managers will not pick you up from the station
if you look like you didn't shower for hundred years. Everybody
expect clean and new places. We don't expect you to be new
buy we do expect you to be clean and look clean and not smoke
in our rooms.( Be very much aware of that!)
