There are different ways to reach the airport Barajas. The fastest but also the cheapest way is to use the metro, where you should go out at station Nuevos Ministerios de Leon. It is also possible to take the taxi- which is more expensive (€20-€40). Also direct buses are available from the airport to the Plaza Colon, this is a good option if you visit Madrid in this part of the city!

There are several train stations in Madrid, which connect to all the big cities in Spain like Barcelona, Malaga, Cadiz, Murcia and Valencia. Atocha is the oldest but also the biggest train station from Spain. But there is also the high-speed train Ave to Sevilla. The prices of the train are a bit more expensive than the normally rates.

Bus Madrid
The buses in Madrid covers a big area! - Even bigger than the metro network. Buses are also available in the night, very handy if you would like to visit the best clubs of Madrid – for the same price as the metro.
Other good bus possibilities are the ‘Long Distance Buses’ .. Buses are available to the surrounding villages of the province and to international destinations. Estacion Sur de Auto buses connects Madrid to the south and Auto Res connects mostly to the North and the East of Spain.
Booking your holiday – and taking the bus to Spain is normally the cheapest way. Buses are comfortable and modern and available during the summer and national holidays. Concerning on the country where you from it is a very long trip, but a nice option to meet new people and the environment of Spain.
