At Studios92.com LTD, we know
the internet can make planning and booking your trip really easy.
We also understand the many frustrations of internet booking and
we have acted on them.
You have several ways to make a booking( We require a minimum
of non refundable 10 pounds deposit, deposit could be higher depending
on type of accommodation, please discuss it with the booking manager)

2- You Call us and book by phone( Credit card required).
3- E-mail us your details and we will call you.
4- By Fax , Click

6- If you don't have a credit card, please E-mail us and
we will e-mail you several ways to make a booking.
7- If you don't have a credit card, you can ask somebody
else to do the booking on your behalf, all they need to pay is 10
pounds, just ask your parents, girl friend/boyfriend, a friend..etc.
8- You can ask somebody who is in London to come to view
the room and leave a deposit in cash or credit card.
Having said that, many people feel more comfortable paying a full
amount in advance and we won't say no to that. Many of our
guests who come through recommendations (from British Councils,
Embassies, top agencies, universities or our return guests) choose
to do this. Since they know exactly what to expect they prefer to
pay in advance to secure the booking and get the payment out of
the way to have fewer things to worry about. But as well as looking
after our guests, we have to look after ourselves. So to make sure
we don't have heaps of empty rooms from people who book and then
don't show up we ask for credit card . Then if you cancel with less
than 7 days notice you will be charged. Lets stop counting the reasons
and just list them, it is hurting my head...
Transport:
We pick you and your luggage up from the nearest tube station to
your accommodation. We are available to do so 7 days a week,
9:30am to 5pm. That way you won't have to worry about carrying
luggage or paying big taxi fares. For arrivals outside of these
times, please consult with the management as there will be an extra
charge.
Speed:
Speedy service with a smile - that's Studios92.com
LTD. If we fail to pick you up from the station within
30 minutes, not only will we apologize (!!), but we will buy you
a bottle of wine to drown your sorrows in. Most customers are picked
up within 10 minutes. Some have to wait a bit longer due to lots
of customers arriving at the same time, or when people arrive on
a Sunday we are sometimes short of drivers.
Telephone:
All the rooms have a telephone. It's free to receive calls, so
tell everyone to call you, but if you have to phone out you can
make cheap outgoing calls by using prepaid phone cards. You can
get great cheap deals on some of these cards. You can also hook
up your computer to the internet using the phone line in your room.
Fax Service:
At Studios92.com LTD it is
free to receive faxes and only a small charge to send. Not only
that, if you receive an urgent fax we will bring it to your room,
no matter which room you are in or how far you live from the office.
Package Storage:
If you book with us and you wish to ship packages before you leave,
you may do so and we will store the packages for you until you arrive
at no extra charge. Believe us this will work out cheaper for you
than paying hefty excess baggage charges. I shouldn't have to mention,
but I will, that we'd prefer it if you didn't send illegal substances
or your pet to us by mail.
E-mail
Just like with faxes, e-mails are free to receive . We will
print the e-mail and deliver it to your door. Make sure whoever
is e-mailing you knows to state your full name clearly on the e-mail
so we can find you.
Security keys
We trust you to act in as responsible a manner. You get your own
security keys and there are no curfews (you come and go from your
room as you wish). We want you to feel at home because Studios92.com
LTD will be your home away from home.
Newly decorated
All rooms are furnished and newly decorated in the best possible
taste. Common areas (bathrooms/kitchens) are checked and cleaned
regularly.
Reference letters:
If you need reference letters when applying for jobs or when trying
to open a bank account, we will happily provide them free of charge
while staying with us..
Employment agencies:
We can help you with your CV / Resume. We can also supply you with
our list of all employment agencies in London. Just tell us what
kind of job you are looking for and we'll help point you in the
right direction.
Linen:
We supply clean linen (duvet, duvet cover, pillows, pillow cases,
sheets).
TV:
All rooms have a television. Most rooms have Sky / Cable
TV. We can't guarantee there will be anything on the TV worth watching,
but we'll try our best.
Hot showers:
All our bathrooms have 24 hour hot showers. Some of the showers
are so hot you can boil an egg for breakfast in the shower to save
time!!!
Central Heating
Our heaters are timed to come on in the mornings and the evenings
(6pm-11:30pm & 5am-10am). This keeps the rooms nice and
warm when it's needed, without overheating. Boilers are serviced
by our engineers on a regular basis. During the day it's off as
guests are out working or sightseeing.
Kitchen - self catering:
All our guests have the use of a fully equipped kitchen (24 hours).
Utensils, crockery, cookware and cutlery are provided: all flats
have a toaster, kettle, microwave, saucepans, cutlery and crockery.
Whizz bang labour saving devices like food processors and juicers
are not provided. Many of our guests are working travellers and
usually young people and not only do they not like to cook but they
often can't even if they try. So the kitchen is usually empty.
By the way making toast doesn't count as cooking!!
Laundry & Dry cleaning:
We offer a laundry and dry cleaning service. We can get your bag
of laundry picked up, washed dried and folded and delivered back
to your room for only 6 pounds. We can do the same for your dry
cleaning. Dry cleaning prices will depend on each garment - it costs
more to dry clean your antique, beaded evening dress than your business
jacket.
Washing Machine:
Half of the flats and houses have washing machines, so you can
always do your washing yourself!!! Check when booking if your flat
has a washing machine. If you can't wash, as well as can't cook,
you can always ask for a flat without a washing machine so you've
got a good excuse to use our laundry service.
Bills:
The only bills we like at Studios92.com
LTD are guests called William. All expenses are included
in your weekly rate so you've nothing to worry about. No queuing
to pay bills, changing account names or worrying about the outstanding
bill when you move out. Also no coin operated meters. All bills
are paid for by Studios92.com LTD:
electricity, central heating, gas, council tax and water.
Service charge:
We don't expect you to pay an extra service charge on top of your
rate just because we're so charming and helpful. Our guests expect
and get good service. That's our job. We don't expect tips for that.
Membership
You become a Studios92.com LTD
member automatically when you move in. No need to pay extra. This
makes future bookings easier, because we already know all about
you.
Tax rebate in London:
We provide help with your VAT/tax rebate. If you are leaving the
country, and of course want to claim back your 17.5% we will be
happy to advise you on tax matters or help you fill in the forms.

for a quicker result
Advice on UK Visas & work permits:
We put together information about visas and visa requirements.
We also have contacts with some reliable companies to help you extend
your visa. Even if you don't have a visa when you get here we can
always give you one to one advice once you're here in London.
Ironing facilities
Ironing facilities are free: all flats have an ironing table and
iron to use free of charge. If you can't cook, can't wash and can't
iron then maybe you should invest in some creaseless clothing.
Towels
We provide towels free of charge to use while you stay with us.
At least one towel is provided per person, so you don't have to
share.
Map of the Area:
When you stay with us we give you a map of the area to show you
the nearest station, nearest supermarket etc. Just a tip - if you're
staying in London for more than a couple of weeks a London A-Z is
a worthwhile investment.
Free Internet
Guests who stay with Studios92.com LTD
are welcome to have free internet access .2 hours per
week free as long as you are staying with us. If you need a hand
with writing a job application or CV we're happy to help, but we
won't write e-mails to your loved ones for you.
Bank Account
We will give you help with opening a bank account. It is a ridiculously
hard business setting up a bank account in London. No-one except
the banks know why this is, but there are plenty of people who have
experienced it to testify to it's difficulty. We'll help you as
best we can and even listen sympathetically to your tales of bank
incompetence and frustration.
Learning English
If you are coming to London to learn English then we can help you
find a suitable English school. In fact you can get a good discount
at Cosmocollege just by mentioning Studios92.com
LTD and they also allow you to attend a couple of days
for free to see what their services are like.
Changing rooms:
No, not the TV show! We don't get guests to redecorate each others
rooms - that would be scary. Instead it is possible to change to
another room whenever you feel like it. This is handy if, for example,
you are sharing a room with a friend and they go home before you
do. It's fine to then move to a single room or vice versa, if you
have more friends arriving later in the month and wish to have your
own flat. We are very flexible.
Taxis -Airport transport:
We have listed the cheapest taxis service in London to take care
of you. Why did we select them? Because they are the cheapest and
most of our guests have better things to spend their money on than
cabs. They're perfect for the bargain hunter. You can contact them
direct or we can do it for you, free of charge.
Limousine transfer:
But maybe you want to go crazy and travel in style? We have selected
the best and most affordable service and can arrange a booking for
you to travel in limousine luxury.
Friendly:
All our staff are very friendly, with the exception of myself (
My name is Dino)! You are guaranteed a friendly first encounter
when you arrive in London because first impressions count and we
want your stay with us to be enjoyable.
Support:
While staying with us, we will be available 7 days a week and we
are always ready to help. For some people, coming to a city as big
as London can be a bit overwhelming. If you want somebody to talk
to because you might feel lonely in your first few days, we will
be glad to sit down with you and have a chat to help you cope. We'd
like to be your substitute family and friends until you settle in
to a new city and make new friends and forget all about us (sob,
sob). Not only that, but we will pay for the coffee too. Unless,
of course, you insist on paying for the drinks, in which case we
won't stop you.
7 days a week:
We are available 7 days a week and if something is an urgent matter
we will deal with it within minutes of you calling us. But
remember our definitions of what constitutes urgent may differ.
Youth hostel prices:
A youth hostel could be good for you if you are staying in London
for only a night or two but if you are staying a week or more it
could be a pain. In most youth hostels you'll have to share a dorm
with up to 8 others and you have no access to a kitchen to make
coffee or whatever. For about the same price as a central London
youth hostel or even cheaper sometimes you can stay with us, and
you get all these benefits. If you are staying only few nights and
you need a bed in a dorm -hostel ,we will help you out with the
booking
Saving money in London
Like we said, we want you to have a good time while you're in London,
staying with us, so we put together a list of suggested cheap places
to go and ways to save money, so you can stretch your pound further.

Your safety first:
In response to so many questions from worried parents and young
men and women travelling alone, we put together a web page to answer
all your questions on safety and security in London with Studios92.com
LTD.. This was done with the help of one of our guests,
Edwin, who is an experienced sergeant from the Dallas police force
who was sent by the City of Dallas to observe and study policing
in London.
Your safety at home:
For your own safety the majority of our accommodations are on the
ground floor (90%), the rest are either on the first, or second
floor maximum. We don't have any accommodation beyond the second
floor. As you may know fire regulations get much tougher for accommodation
above the second floor. We strongly recommend you avoid living anywhere
above the second floor without proper fire exits and other
fire precautions. All our flats and houses are equipped with heat
detectors, fire extinguisher and fire blankets. All rooms are equipped
with smoke detectors.
London Notice board:
If you are travelling alone and you wish to find another person
to take a twin with you to cut cost, you can do that by leaving
a message on our on-line notice board. It has worked for others,
hopefully it should work for you too.
Hotel booking:
If you are staying with us and you have your parents or friends
coming to visit you for a few days, we will be more than happy to
book them into the hotel nearest to you. Or if we have a room in
the flat where you are staying we will be happy to organize a place
for them even if they are staying just a couple of days.
Mobile phones:
Some of our rooms, now come with a mobile phone, perfect for short
stays or when looking for a job plus the land line to hook up your
computer.
Internet is now very cheap:
You can now connect to the internet with your laptop, free of charge
of up to 100 hours then only 15 pounds for one month including all
the phone calls and the access. We supply the CD to connect FREE
Whoops!!
We have just counted the reasons and we found that it's not really
50 reasons at all!
