| Shakespeare's Globe is an exact
replica of the Globe as it was in the 1600s, built using Tudor tools and
methods.
An excellent new exhibition, named "All
the World's a Stage," uses a mixture of genuine artifacts and
displays to paint a picture of Bankside as it was in Shakespeare's day.
The exhibition focuses on the role of the actor and others involved in
staging Shakespeare plays from the craftsmen to the audiences attending
the performances.
Watch a play if you get the chance (performances
are May-Sept).
Opened daily Tues.-Sat. 0900-1200 Sun.
until 1130, Mon. until 1700.
